Mt Kenya Climb - 7 days / 6 nights

Grade:B- moderate. Up to 6.5 hours / 15 miles per day.

DAY 1: Met Station Camp Site
Drive to Naromoru Gate and then walk to Met station camp at 10,000 ft. Overnight at the Met station camp. Here we spend the night in high altitude mountain tents. 10kms 3-4 hrs walk
DAY 2: Mackinders Camp 
After Breakfast we ascend to Mackinders Camp via Teleki Valley and spend the night camped in this beautiful little valley below subsidiary peaks of point John and Diamond Cooler. Overnight stay Mackinders. 9 kms 4-5 hrs walk
DAY 3: ACCLIMATAZATION/spend the day in camp
After  your breakfast you will will walk to two turn lakes this will enable you to view the peaks in different angles as the following day you will be going to Austrian hut.at lake oblong and hausberg  you will be able to allocate the route going to shipton camp later return to Mackinder camp for lunch .
DAY 4:Austrian hut
Today  after break you will depart at 8am walk through a ascend hill under the majestic peaks {Batian 5199m A.S.L,Nelion 5188m A.S.L,Lenana 4985m A.S.L} the lewis glacier lying from under point lenana .
DAY 5:shipton camp
Today wake up at 4:30am for your light breakfast depart Austrian hut at 5hrs to attempt point lenana arriving  there around 6:00am at summit take photo for sunrise and on a clear day you will view killimanjaro and Indian ocean
Day 6 :mount meru bandas
After your summit on prevous days today you start trekking at 6:00am passing via simba col you will be able to view the mountain from eastern side a sturning mountain behind your back pass mintos camp this is the bigging of georges valley the most scenic route in mountain full of stunning photos at road head here you will find our professional cook  prepared you lunch.take your lunch as you have lunch take one hour for relaxation then proceed to bandas a 7 killimeter  walk arriving at 4pm.here you will take a warm shower the only route that provides water in mountain later there will be fire to warm you up the time before you take your night today you will sleep well than there before  in mountain bandas is located at low altitude 2600m A.S.L.
DAY 7:BANDAS-NAIROBI
Today leave the camp at 7:00am and walk 10killimeters where you will take you special 4x4  landcruisers to chogoria town here you will cheerz with the entire trekking team as you wish them fairwell.take you vehicle back to Nairobi or your next destination

NB:// - Mosquito nets are not required
- You only require bottled water on the 1st day. The rest of the days we usually boil or purify the water with purifing tablets and you just re fill your drinking bottles.
